About Us
Passin' Thru Bluegrass Band has been togther since 2006. What originally started as a group of friends getting together on Saturday night to jam has become a great groups of friends who can play some downright traditional bluegrass if that is what you what to hear, they are also know for remaking some old songs into bluegrass style music like Lodi (which can be heard on our music page),Jet Plane, and Ridin My Thumb to Mexico (also on our music page). All of the members of Passin' Thru have several people that they credit for their talents but first and foremost they gave all credit and praise to Our Lord Jesus Christ. The band motto is when it stops being fun they need to look at what has happened because if they aren't having fun the audience is not having fun.
CH Lineberry
CH has been around the bluegrass scene since he was a little boy going to watch his daddy play, CH has said that his dad gave him has love for bluegrass. CH has played many different bands throughout the years and he is an awsome lead singer and guitar player. CH is married to Karen and they reside in Black Ankle NC.
Dwayne Runyon
Dwayne also grew up listening to his daddy play bluegrass music, Dwayne has been playing in bands since his early teenage years, he started playing mandolin and singing tenor at the age of 13. Dwayne has played with many different bluegrass bands throughout West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. He currently lives in Franklinville, NC with his wife, Renee.
